The Chairman's Message

We stand for a dignified solution to the plight of our people in Iraq. We tell all those we meet that we have been forced to look at three choices.

First, our people leave Iraq, and we will not.

Second, we are forced into assimilation and the abandonment of our culture, religion, and identity, and we will not be.

Third, we will find a dignified solution for our people in the form of being recognized as an autonomous region. Our people should be able to live as Iraqis whose roots are embedded in the land of Mesopotamia for thousands of years, before the very formation of the Iraqi state.

As one people whose culture, heritage, religion, and identity are on the brink of extinction, nothing less is acceptable and should be acceptable to Iraq , the United States, and the world.
