Alexander Michael

Alexander Michael is an Illinois licensed attorney. He obtained his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 2010. Since that time he has successfully represented clients in landlord/tenant disputes. He made sure that landlords respected the rights of their tenants by ensuring that the landlords provided necessities such as heat, hot water, and electricity, as well as sanitary living conditions. He has also practiced eviction defense and is expanding his practice into immigration law, criminal defense, divorce, and contract disputes/business litigation.

 

During law school Alexander had the opportunity to work on a variety of legal fields exposing him to a wide range of legal practice. This experience has helped him deal with almost any kind of legal problem a client may come across. Among his experiences in law school Alexander played an integral part in preparing the defense of Robert Blagojevich, the brother of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. Before law school Alexander attended DePaul University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science.

 

Alexander has been a part of the Assyrian community for his entire life attending Mar Gewargis church on the north side of Chicago. He has been an usher for the church since 2002 and was honored in 2010 by being selected as a speaker for the 2010 Assyrian graduating class.

 

Alexander currently lives in Park Ridge, IL and has resided in the Chicago area his entire life. He speaks fluent Assyrian and Polish.
