Guiliana Younan


Guiliana Younan is currently self-employed and a developer and manager of commercial and residential real estate in the Chicagoland area.

Guiliana was one of the founding members of the Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party in 1976, the President of the Assyrian American Association of Chicago for two terms, and Vice President of the Assyrian American National Federation for two terms and the first Chairman of the Federation’s Headquarter’s Committee.
Guiliana also played an instrumental role in assisting Professor Anthony D'Amato of the Northwestern University in commissioning the book, “The Assyrian Case for Autonomy,” in 1982.

Guiliana received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Guiliana is married to Shamiran, has five children and resides in Skokie, Illinois.
