
Martin F. Manna

Martin Manna is one of the organizers and current Executive
Director of The Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce and
the Chaldean Community Foundation. The Chaldean Chamber of
Commerce seeks to represent the estimated 12,000 Chaldean
owned businesses in Michigan. Martin is also one of the
founders and publishers of The Chaldean News, a monthly
paper distributed to over 10,000 Chaldean households.
Martin is involved in several civic and community affairs.
Currently he is a Trustee for New Detroit, one of the
founders and Board member of The Bank of Michigan and a
Board member for City Connect. Martin also serves as an
advisor to the Chaldean Cultural Center, Treasurer for the
Chaldean Federation of America and helps coordinate the
efforts of the Chaldean Assyrian Syriac Council of America
(CASCA).
Martin continues his diversity training in working with New
Detroit, where he has completed their Immersion Program.
Martin completed the Ambassadors Program for Conflict
Resolution Training through Wayne State University’s Center
for Peace and Conflict Studies. Martin was awarded the
Volunteer Service Award from the Greater West Bloomfield
Michigan Week Committee, the Tim Dinan Community Service
Award by the Oakland County Democratic Party and New
Detroit’s Civic/Community Organization award for his work
through C.A.R.E. Martin was also named one of The Detroit
News 2004 Michiganian’s of the year and one of Crain’s
Detroit Businesses 40 Under 40 in 2006. He recently
completed a Fellowship through Columbia University through
the Next Generation Project on U.S. Global Policy and the
Future of International Institutions.
Martin Manna received his Masters of Business Administration
Degree and Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in
Corporate Finance from Wayne State University.
Martin is currently married to Tamara with four Children and
resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
